How Subutex Clinics Work
Subutex is the brand name for buprenorphine. This medication offers relief from painful or intense withdrawal symptoms that occur when someone stops using opioids. This FDA-approved medication is safe for long-term use with medical oversight. Medication assisted treatment with Subutex, in combination with our counseling and case management services, is part of the comprehensive treatment approach we offer at our opioid treatment center.
Initial Induction
– Manage Withdrawal –
Initially, our team members monitor each patient’s withdrawal symptoms. They will provide Subutex as needed. During this time, we will review the patient’s medical history to ensure that they receive the proper dose of Subutex.
Outpatient Treatment
– Heal –
During treatment, our patients continue to receive Subutex as our clinicians prescribe. The patient will have the opportunity to participate in group therapy and one-on-one counseling that allows them to address the underlying issues surrounding their opioid use disorder.
Medical Taper
– Recover –
Many patients benefit from tapering off the medications we provide as part of their treatment plan. However, we may recommend that others continue receiving Subutex to promote long-term recovery. Our clinicians will work alongside each patient to develop the proper treatment plan for them.
Subutex Clinical Services
Throughout the recovery process, patients will benefit from a complementary mix of services.

How Much Does Subutex Treatment Cost?
Paying for addiction treatment
The cost of Subutex treatment at BrightView Health is different for each patient. Why? Because we create personalized plans based on each patient’s specific needs as they recover from substance use disorders, the price may vary. That said, we are in-network with most major insurance providers in the United States, as well as Medicaid and Medicare. This ensures that patients will be able to get the best coverage while simultaneously minimizing their out-of-pocket costs.
