Meet Katie Spencer, LISW-S
Behavioral Health Director, BrightView
Katie Spencer, LISW-S, is the State Behavioral Health Director at BrightView, where she has served for three years and brings with her extensive experience in mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) services. She earned her Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University, specializing in mental health. Katie has provided therapy to a diverse range of patients, including youth, adults, seniors, mandated individuals, and LGBTQIA+ populations.
Over the past five years, she has held clinical supervisory positions across various levels of care, helping to lead comprehensive care teams. She has also helped develop and launch SUD and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services at multiple agencies. Katie is passionate about making behavioral health care more accessible and is driven to create person-centered programs that truly meet the needs of those she serves.
