Who We Are
BrightView is not your typical “drug rehab” program. Actually, here at BrightView, we don’t even use the term “rehab program” at our treatment centers. That’s because we are a comprehensive addiction treatment center. We provide outpatient addiction treatment to patients in West Columbus who are struggling with drug abuse or alcohol addiction.
Our effective, evidence-based approach to addiction treatment includes medication assisted treatment (MAT), individual counseling services, group therapy, and social support services. We also help those who are struggling with co-occurring disorders and provide individualized treatment plans. Our addiction treatment programs meet each patient wherever they are. For those who may be seeking drug treatment for something such as opiate addiction, we primarily prescribe buprenorphine, buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone), and naltrexone (Vivitrol). Although we do not currently prescribe methadone in our Columbus addiction treatment clinic, we have helped many patients concerned about withdrawal symptoms transition from methadone to another medication.

What to Expect in Our West Columbus Addiction Treatment Center
Our Columbus intensive outpatient treatment program allows our staff to develop a unique treatment plan that works with each patient’s daily life. Patients are able to maintain their regular commitments and attend to their individual needs. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most forms of private insurance to make sure that substance abuse treatment is available to all those who need it.
During an initial assessment, we’ll determine the best course of treatment to address your needs. Medication-assisted treatment is typically best for those who are struggling with opioid addiction. It addresses the physical discomfort that can often accompany withdrawal. Additionally, certain medications can reduce cravings. Many of those who struggle with addiction will relapse at some point on their recovery journey without the right kind of support. However, medications like Vivitrol and Suboxone can reduce the risk of relapse and lead to lasting positive outcomes.
Therapy and Support
At BrightView, medication assisted treatment is always complemented by therapy. During group and individual sessions, our patients work through the factors that may have contributed to addiction in the past. From a family history of addiction to mental health issues like anxiety or depression, it’s important to address these issues in a safe, supportive environment. You’ll build a network of support and find the motivation you need for your journey to recovery.
