Comprehensive addiction treatment at BrightView

Every treatment plan for SUD is based on your unique needs. Diagnostic tools help guide the process, but your story shapes your care.

  • Registration and assessment: Same-day or next-day appointment with medical and clinical checks. You’ll also have time to ask questions.
  • Medications when needed: Medicine may be used to reduce cravings and support long-term recovery, especially for alcohol or opioid use. We also provide medication for co-occurring mental health conditions.
  • Individual and group counseling: You’ll meet with a counselor and join BrightView group sessions. You may also join groups like Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous.
  • Social support: We help with practical needs like housing, legal aid, jobs, and insurance.
  • Ongoing check-ins: Regular contact, screenings, and a personalized care plan keep treatment consistent and supportive.

Our goal is to make treatment approachable and to help you heal from addiction while also addressing any related mental health needs.

Medications and behavioral therapies we use

BrightView treatment is personalized for each patient. Depending on your needs, your care may include FDA-approved medications and behavioral health therapies.

Alcohol use disorder (AUD) medications

We may prescribe naltrexone, acamprosate, or disulfiram. These medicines help reduce cravings, block alcohol’s effects, or discourage use. They work best when paired with counseling and the practice of healthy habits.

Opioid use disorder (OUD) medications

We use buprenorphine, methadone, or naltrexone. These medicines help the brain rebalance and reduce cravings. They are combined with counseling, case management, and recovery support.

Safety and harm reduction

We provide education on naloxone for overdose prevention, tips for avoiding risky drug combinations, and other harm-reduction tools. Families are included when appropriate.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)

CBT helps people notice and change harmful thought patterns. It teaches coping skills and strategies to avoid relapse triggers.

Motivational enhancement therapy (MET)

MET is a person-centered approach that builds motivation for change. It helps people move past mixed feelings and commit to their goals.

Relapse-prevention skills

We teach patients to recognize risky situations, create healthy routines, and practice coping skills.
