Before I came here, I had nothing. In the year and a half that I’ve been here, I’ve paid off my fines. I’ve got my driver’s license, I bought a vehicle. I have an apartment. I’m actually planning and doing things and it feels wonderful. It feels good to wake up and just know I can do anything I want to do.
