BrightView Health announces opening of new outpatient addiction treatment center in Dayton

A ribbon cutting ceremony held earlier Thursday for the opening of Brightview’s Dayton Addiction Treatment Center. The center offers an option for those looking to find long-term recovery from substance use disorder. The treatment methods used at the facility will include medication assisted treatment, counseling, therapy, and social support. They also have other locations that offer the same treatments.

BrightView Health Addiction Treatment Center brings hope to Lynchburg

Since the end of 2021, BrightView Health, a provider of comprehensive outpatient addiction treatment, has been making a significant impact on the Lynchburg community. The center, at 3704 Old Forest Road, has become a resource for individuals seeking help in their journey to recovery. Founded in 2015 by two emergency room doctors in Cincinnati, BrightView was born out of a desire to improve the care provided to patients with substance use disorders, Tom Fraticelli, BrightView’s outreach director, said.

BrightView Health Addiction Treatment Center in Batavia celebrated five years of providing effective outpatient addiction treatment on Wednesday, September 27th. The event took place at 1100 Hospital Drive, Batavia. Highlights of the celebration included awards to patients and BrightView community partners who joined efforts in helping others pursue sobriety.  

Reentry simulation demonstrates the difficulty of post-incarceration

With the jail and homeless population growing in Pulaski County, advocates in the community have begun outreach to help the public understand the difficulties facing those leaving jail and reentering society. Held in the Somerset Community College Harold Rogers Student Commons, The Reentry Simulation took place last Wednesday. The simulation’s goals were to allow community members to have “an experience of solidarity, compassion, and action,” according to the flyer. The event was operated by the Kentucky Department of Corrections (DOC) who puts on similar events across the Commonwealth.

September is National Recovery Month and nearly 500 thousand adults in Virginia struggle with addiction. BrightView Addiction Treatment Center in Lynchburg took the chance to recognize Bedford County’s Family Drug Court program on Tuesday. The Bedford Family Treatment Docket includes child services and social services, which is unique to drug courts in Southwest and Central Virginia.
