Who We Are
We aren’t your typical “drug rehab” program. In fact, at BrightView, we don’t even use the term “rehab program.” We are a comprehensive addiction treatment center in Akron, Ohio that provides outpatient treatment to patients battling drug or alcohol addiction. Our treatment approach for these diseases is effective because it is evidence-based. We include medication for addiction treatment (MAT), individual counseling, group therapy, social service support, as well as work on co-occurring disorders. We utilize an individualized approach in our treatment options to meet patients where they are. For those seeking drug treatment for something such as opiate addiction, we primarily prescribe buprenorphine, buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone), and naltrexone (Vivitrol). We do not currently prescribe methadone, but we have helped many patients transition from methadone to another medication during substance abuse treatment.
Our outpatient treatment program enables our staff to develop a unique treatment plan that works with each patient’s daily life, so they maintain their regular commitments and individual needs. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most forms of insurance to make sure that this recovery program is available to anyone battling the disease of addiction and wants to receive our treatment services. We have caring staff who answer the phone 24-hour per day. A toll-free phone number is provided for the convenience of our patients.
Our Akron, OH treatment facility accepts walk-ins on weekdays until 3:00 pm. We are conveniently located North Main Street at the intersection of East Burns Ave. If you or a loved one needs help, we encourage you to call or visit.
